Law Enforcement Appreciation Day started in 2015 in an effort to bring awareness to the important role law enforcement officers hold in our community. At Prince Edward County Public Schools our officers contribute to school safety, awareness, and student success.
Prince Edward County Middle School honored Deputy Graves for his dedication to our middle school Eagles as the Law Enforcement Officer. In addition, Deputy Graves serves as the D.A.R.E. officer at PECMS. Students enjoy his positive presence and his encouragement to make good choices!
Deputy Mercer was honored at Prince Edward County High School in recognition for his contributions to safety and the positive atmosphere at PECHS. Deputy Mercer is known for his vibrant personality and his ability to remember student by name.
