Our outstanding Food Service Department created a perfect treat to celebrate National Banana Day!

Diona Jennings was recognized as this year's DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Good Citizen for PECHS. Only one student from Prince Edward County High School is selected per year to be distinguished as the DAR Good Citizen by the Judith Randolph-Longwood Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. As the DAR Good Citizen, Diona was honored for her patriotism, dependability, service, and leadership. Congratulations to Diona for her nomination and recognition as this year's Prince Edward County High School DAR Good Citizen!


Have you noticed our pinwheel garden? April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. The garden was placed on campus by the Prince Edward County Department of Social Services to serve as a symbol of the importance of ensuring all children have a healthy and safe childhood. #CAPmonth2024

Congratulations to our recent S.O.A.R. into Spring winners! These students were randomly selected to receive a prize for being in school today. Prizes include wireless speakers, headphones, doodle boards, and more! Congratulations, E. Estes and A. Monroe. #AttendanceMattersVA



Attention fourth-grade families: The stepping-up ceremony will occur on May 20th at 10:00 am in the middle school gym.

The family engagement centers will be open until April 18, 2024. After this date, they will close for the remainder of the school year. The middle school center will reopen to students and families during summer school!

Don't miss "The Wizard of Oz" play tonight at 7:00 pm, performed by PECHS students! Tickets cost only $5.00 and are available for purchase at the door. Cash only.

The school board of PECPS will have a meeting on Wednesday, April 10th, at 5:30 pm in the school board conference room. This month's meeting will include a budget hearing. The 2024-2025 budget will focus on literacy support and mental health resources.
