I want to make you aware that there was a law enforcement presence at Prince Edward County High School this afternoon in response to an isolated student-related incident. At no time was the school placed on lockdown. Out of an abundance of caution, we briefly held dismissal for approximately five minutes. We are grateful for the prompt response and support of local law enforcement, and we appreciate everyoneβs patience and cooperation as the situation was addressed quickly and safely. Thank you for your continued support. -Dr. Chip Jones, PECPS Superintendent
