Congratulations to the Class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian!
Aaliyah Monae Toney has been named Valedictorian, and McKenna Riley Vogel is this yearβs Salutatorian. These outstanding Eagles have been described as well-rounded stewards who have excelled both academically and athletically.
Aaliyah Monae Toney participated in cheerleading, color guard, drama team, Future Farmers of America, Homecoming Committee, National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, Prom Committee, Scholastic Bowl, tennis, and track & field during her time at PECHS. She received an academic jacket, attended the Governorβs School of Southside Virginia, and earned an associate degree through the SVCC dual enrollment program. Aaliyah was also involved in civic engagement through the NAACP and the Prince Edward County Democratic Committee. After graduation, she will attend Hollins University, where she plans to major in political science and minor in social justice.
McKenna Riley Vogel played basketball, soccer, volleyball, and swim for Prince Edward County High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society, received an academic jacket, attended the Governorβs School of Southside Virginia, and earned an associate degree through the SVCC dual enrollment program. McKenna volunteered at FACES food pantry and also learned to juggle during her time in high school. After graduation, she has committed to play soccer at Campbell University, where she will study kinesiology and sports management.
