This past weekend, five talented Eagles traveled to Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, to participate in the Mid-Atlantic Honor Band.
After receiving nominations for this prestigious event, students auditioned for chair placements. Three of our students earned 1st chair honors in the Blue and Red Bands: Jude Simpson (Trumpet), Kazu Dinmore (Percussion), and Whill Stanley (Tuba).
From Friday to Sunday, students worked closely with Dr. Tim Robblee, Dr. Shaun Evans, and guest composer Dr. Viet Cuong to bring two concerts’ worth of music to life. In addition, they attended masterclasses with applied faculty, enjoyed live performances, and experienced a taste of college life at Shenandoah.
We are incredibly proud of how these five Eagles represented Prince Edward!
