Bruce Davis Elected Vice President of the School Nutrition Association of Virginia

Prince Edward County, VA — Prince Edward County Public Schools is proud to announce that Bruce Davis has been elected Vice President of the School Nutrition Association of Virginia (SNAV). In this leadership role, Davis will serve on the Board as Vice President for 2026–2027, President-Elect for 2027–2028, and President for 2028–2029.

“We are incredibly proud of Bruce Davis for being elected Vice President of the School Nutrition Association of Virginia,” said Dr. Jones, Superintendent. “This honor reflects not only his leadership and professionalism, but his unwavering commitment to ensuring our students are nourished, supported, and ready to learn each day. To have one of our own serving the Commonwealth in this capacity speaks volumes about the quality of leadership we have in our division.”

Davis shared his gratitude and excitement for the opportunity to serve.

“I am excited and humbled to share that I have been elected to serve as Vice President of the School Nutrition Association of Virginia. I am truly honored that my colleagues from across the Commonwealth have placed their confidence in me to help lead our profession. School nutrition is more than a job—it is a commitment to ensuring students are nourished, supported, and ready to learn each day,” said Davis.

He also recognized the support of his team and school division.

Their hard work, flexibility, and commitment to excellence are what make opportunities like this possible. I am proud to represent not only our profession, but also the outstanding work being done here every day.”
