THANK YOU for a great opening to the school year. Morning drop-off went exceptionally well.
Just a few reminders to help things flow smoothly:
Use the far right lane for drop-off. Be sure your child exits the vehicle on the right side closest to the sidewalk. If you are unable to do so for any reason, please use the through lane to access the parking lot and walk to the school.
Also, you might have noticed there are no crosswalk markings. This is because anyone using the parking lot (in front of the new entrance) must use the sidewalk. Please do not walk into oncoming traffic.
Afternoon Dismissal:
THANK YOU to all Eagle families who worked with us through the first day. This will get better over time. By Friday, you should notice improvement. Several factors always contribute to a longer dismissal on the opening days of school. Our Eagle parents who have been with us a while know the first days require patience and collaboration.
Help us get better in the following ways:
Please have IDs ready upon arrival.
Please do not exit your vehicle; a staff member will come to you to sign out your student.
Once your child has been placed in your car, either pull up, if possible, or use the through lane to drive safely around.
Remember: Parents of students with last names ending in A-M are asked to begin lining up at 3:00 p.m. Last names beginning with N-Z, should start lining up at 3:15 p.m. This is meant to help limit "spill-over" traffic on Zion Hill Road and shorten your wait time in line.
