Summer break is here, and The Reading Eagle is helping students start the season with great books and exciting reading adventures!
This past weekend, The Reading Eagle visited the Central Virginia Regional Library to distribute free books to children and families throughout our community. We were thrilled to see so many young readers excited to add new stories to their summer reading collections. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make the event a success. Encouraging a love of reading doesn't stop when school endsโit continues all summer long!

A special thank you to all of the students, families, staff, and community members who attended the LCVA Youth Art Exhibit Opening Reception. We are so proud of our talented young artists and grateful for the support shown as we celebrated their creativity, hard work, and artistic achievements.

Prince Edward County Middle School recently celebrated its 8th Grade Stepping Up Ceremony, recognizing the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of our students as they prepare to begin the next chapter of their educational journey.
This special event honored the dedication and achievements of the Class of 2030 while giving families, teachers, and staff an opportunity to celebrate this important milestone together.
