๐ข Attendance pays off!
Recently, our PECMS 8th graders enjoyed an exciting trip to Kings Dominion as an attendance incentive field trip! Students earned this fun-filled experience through their commitment to S.O.A.R. (Show up. On time. All day. Ready to learn.) From thrilling rides to making memories with friends, this trip was a well-deserved celebration of hard work and dedication. Great job, PECMS studentsโkeep showing up and shining! ๐

The students were highly engaged and really connected with his message. They enjoyed hearing his personal experiences, viewing examples of his work before opening his salon, and receiving advice about professionalism, motivation, and perseverance within the industry.
Mr. Cleaton provided students with motivational goodie bags that included inspirational quotes inside capsules, which students read aloud together. It was a great way to encourage and inspire students as we close out the school year on a positive note.

As we prepare for Stepping Up, weโd love to include your studentโs journey through the years! Please send individual and group photos of your student from the past and present

Today, Sheetz donated two baskets, and Mr. Eberly, PECHS teacher, and Mrs. Woodson, Director of SPED, were the lucky winners! ๐ฆ ๐

Here are a few images from yesterdayโs Senior Showcase and today's Senior Walk. A full album is on Facebook. The showcase was an amazing opportunity to hear what our Eagles plan to do after high school. With a crowd full of supportive family members and community members, itโs clear how much you are celebrated, and we know you will succeed in this next chapter. ๐ฆ โจ
Eagle Family, a ticket is required to attend graduation. If you are unable to attend in person, you can still watch it live on the PECPS YouTube channel:

The adventure continued with a rotation of interactive stations:
"Apple Earth": A visual demonstration showing just how little of our planet's land is actually usable for farming.
DNA Extraction: Students felt like real scientists as they extracted DNA from strawberries.
Oobleck Lab: A messy, fun exploration of non-Newtonian fluids to master the states of matter.
Cell Models: Creative building of animal cells to visualize the building blocks of life.
After a sunny picnic lunch on the beautiful property, our students headed home with full stomachs and even fuller minds. It was a fantastic day of learning that brought science and agriculture to life!

Join us in celebrating our PECHS seniors and the exciting plans they have after graduation! The future is bright, and this is just the beginning. We are proud of you, class of 2026!
