We miss our Eagles! Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 6.

Students from the high school took part in a community outing to the Fishin' Pig, featuring a gingerbread man paint party led by students from our National Art Honor Society. The experience included hands-on practice with everyday life skills, as each student ordered and paid for their meal, including the tip. ๐จ๐ฝ๏ธ

Across the division, staff celebrated the holiday season. Here are images from the Transportation Holiday Celebration! We appreciate our transportation team for getting our Eagles to and from school each day! ๐๐๐

Itโs winter break, but our student athletes are still putting in the work! ๐ช๐ฆ

Before winter break, our PECES Eagles were busy learning in creative ways! โ๏ธ๐ฆ
First graders explored map skills by integrating Ozobots, making geography and spatial reasoning tangible and fun. Through hands-on activities, students practiced direction, scale, problem-solving, and basic coding. This engaging lesson, led by Mrs. Nester, showcased how technology can bring learning to life. ๐ค๐บ๏ธ

Yesterday, Eagles at the high school enjoyed biscuits from Bojangles and donuts from Donut Company as part of our continued efforts to encourage good attendance.

As we head into Winter Break, PECHS is proud to celebrate the students who received Positive Office Referrals during the final two weeks of the semester! ๐๐ This semester alone, more than 160 Positive Office Referrals were submitted to recognize students who consistently demonstrated kindness, leadership, citizenship, and a positive impact on our school community. All students were entered into a drawing for one of four $25 gift cards, either to Amazon or Buffalo Wild Wings. The four winners were Curtis Patterson, Cheyanne Chappell, Walker Ramsey, and Andy Wang. We are so proud of our students and grateful to our staff for taking the time to recognize the great things happening at PECHS every day. Way to finish the semester strong! ๐๐
