The Make it Happen program conference for African American males will provide insights on college admissions, financial aid, and more. XC Updates: The Fred Hardy Invitational was held at Fork Union this weekend, the PECHS Girls XC finished ninth in a field of twenty-five teams. Makayla Nelson won the long jump with a season-best jump of seventeen feet and eight inches. Kamani Watkins placed seventh in that event as well. Makayla also finished third in the triple jump and sixth in the fifty-five meters. Jamarion Crawley was second in the 300-meter run and sixth in the fifty-five meters. On January 13 at the Walt Cormack Invitational held at VMI, Sylvia Hemmer was sixth in the thirty-two hundred with a season-best time of eleven minutes and fifty-five seconds. This meet featured twenty-eight schools. The next XC meet will be held in Lousia on January 26th. #GoEagles #StudentAthletes
