The PECHS Scholastic Bowl team played three matches at the Super Regional Tournament. Tournament placement was based on total points rather than head-to-head matches. Heading into their third match, Prince Edward was tied with Bruton High School for 2nd place in points. The third match went down to the wire, with both teams tied at 160 points after the regular three rounds. A three-question tie-breaker was held. Prince Edward answered the first question correctly, but Bruton pulled out the win by answering the final two questions first.
The Super Regional Tournament placement was as follows: Poquoson 1st (advancing to the State Tournament), Bruton 2nd, Prince Edward 3rd, and Nottoway 4th. Congratulations to our Eagles for another amazing year!
