Our first graders have been learning all about how communities honor local and national traditions, including important holidays like Veterans Day.

We had a wonderful lesson from Ms. Toni Russell-Baker, who shared her experiences serving in the U.S. Navy. Our students listened, asked great questions, and learned how we can show gratitude to those who serve our country.

A huge thank you to Ms. Russell-Baker for inspiring our young learners and helping them understand the meaning behind this special day! 💙❤️🤍Happy Veterans Day!
