The last FeedMore food market of the school year is TODAY! Doors will open and food distribution will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Sports Arena. As a reminder, this event is free for anyone with a student currently enrolled at PECPS, while supplies last!

D.A.R.E. graduation will take place on Monday, May 19, at 1:30 p.m. in the middle school cafetorium. Visitors may check in at the front office as early as 1:15 p.m. ๐ฆ

On May 7, the Prince Edward County School Board proudly recognized the Prince Edward County Middle School Boysโ Track Team for making school history! ๐ฆ
After a phenomenal season where they brought home the Southside Boysโ Track Championship for the first time ever, set a conference record, and broke several school records, these student-athletes were honored for their hard work, determination, and incredible achievement.
We are so proud of our champions! Thank you for representing PECMS with pride and excellence!

โป๏ธ Help Us Recycle 500 Pounds by October! ๐ก
Farmville Habitat for Humanity and Prince Edward County Middle School (PECMS) are teaming up for a Can Recycling Drive, and we need your help to hit our goal of 500 pounds of aluminum cans by October!
Look for the special recycling bin located in the PECMS cafeteria and drop in your empty aluminum cans. Every can supports affordable housing right here in our community.
Letโs crush this goal together, one can at a time! ๐

Students from the PECHS Cybersecurity class attended a Capture the Flag (CTF) Competition at Longwood University. The day started with introductions and talks from Dr. Darrell Carpenter and Dr. Ron Pike on college and careers in Cybersecurity. PECHS students were paired with Longwood University students to complete cybersecurity tasks that are given a point value. Students were treated to lunch at the dining hall and enjoyed a tour of the university. The students had a great time and learned a lot about Longwood University and cybersecurity. #CommunityPartnerships #CTE #STEM






Today's PECHS soccer game vs. Randolph-Henry has been postponed until Tuesday and will be held at the HSC field.
Girls' tennis has also been postponed and rescheduled for Tuesday, May 20 at 5:30 PM.
