Announcement: Prince Edward County Public Schools will be closed on Friday, September 27th, due to the potential of extreme weather.
On Tuesday, September 24th, the Prince Edward County High School Student Council Association attended the Leadership Farmville Youth Summit sponsored by the Farmville Chamber of Commerce. 🦅✨ Students participated in breakout sessions with Benchmark Community Bank, Virginia Credit Union, Southside Electric Cooperative, and A Great Escape Spalon. They learned how to be student leaders within their community and gained valuable insights from each presenter. 💡🙌 Closing out the event was Hampden-Sydney Basketball Coach Caleb Kimbrough, who encouraged students to wake up each day and be their best selves. 🏀💪
