๐จ A BIG thank you to Sergeant Graves for leading our 5th grade students through an impactful D.A.R.E. program at PECMS! ๐จ This week, students learned about the importance of making smart choices, risks and consequences, and the dangers of vaping. Itโs so important that they understand how their decisions today shape their future. Thank you, Sergeant Graves, for your dedication in teaching our students how to stay safe and make positive choices!

Erin Smalls, the Prince Edward County Extension Agent, coordinated a lesson with Ms. Talbott, the veterinary science teacher, where students practiced giving injections! ๐พ




Members of the Young Gentlemen's Club (YGC) recently toured the Moton Museum. Students learned about the history of Prince Edward County and asked questions about the exhibits. The YGC is advised by Dr. Smith, assistant principal at the middle school. ๐ผ๐




The November theme "Eagle Readers are Future Leaders" continues at the elementary school. Our eagles paired up with different grade levels to read stories and poems. This is always one of our favorite reading activities at the elementary school! #EverybodyReadsVA

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the high school theatre students' production of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. The audience enjoyed this fast-paced rendition of fairy tales, brought to life by our incredibly talented students. There were plenty of laughs and several opportunities for crowd participation.
