๐ Congratulations to our PECHS seniors!
This past weekend, several of our seniors celebrated major milestones as they graduated from Southside Virginia Community College and Governorโs School of Southside Virginia programs.
The ceremony, held at Longwood University, recognized the hard work, dedication, and commitment these students have shown in earning college credits and achieving advanced academic milestones in high school.
We are so proud of all they have accomplished and canโt wait to see whatโs next for them! ๐

On Thursday, April 30, students stepped into the role of the teacher, working in groups to design and deliver their own lessons. Each group created a mini-lesson focused on a specific element of theatre, incorporating instructional strategies, engaging activities, and opportunities for their classmates to learn by doing.
From breaking down what makes a strong script to leading interactive improv exercises, our students did an incredible job teaching and learning from one another. Their creativity, collaboration, and confidence were on full display as they took ownership of the classroom and truly brought theatre to life.
We are so proud of these Eagles for rising to the challenge and demonstrating excellence through student-led learning! ๐ฌ๐
