
π’ Attention Class of 2024! Here's what you need to do for our upcoming trip to Busch Gardens:

Ensure your class dues are paid in full by Thursday, April 25.

No unexcused absences from Monday, April 15 to Thursday, May 9.
β
No discipline referrals from Monday, April 15 to Thursday, May 9.
β
Adhere to the PECPS Code of Conduct and Dress Code.
β
Return any overdue or lost library books.
β
Submit your completed and signed permission form along with payment of $45 to Ms. Ramsey by Thursday, April 18. This covers your Busch Gardens ticket and breakfast biscuit. Remember to bring extra cash for lunch, dinner, and souvenirs! π’πποΈ


Attention fourth-grade families: The stepping-up ceremony will occur on May 20th at 10:00 am in the middle school gym.


The family engagement centers will be open until April 18, 2024. After this date, they will close for the remainder of the school year. The middle school center will reopen to students and families during summer school!


April is Workforce Readiness Month! This week is CTE Spirit Week! Today, students dressed up as first responders. On Tuesday, it's Farm vs. Chef; Wednesday is Automotive Careers; Thursday is Dress to Impress, and Friday is Eagle Pride!



Congratulations to our recent S.O.A.R. into Spring winners! These students were randomly selected to receive a prize for being in school today. Prizes include wireless speakers, headphones, doodle boards, and more! Congratulations, E. Estes and A. Monroe. #AttendanceMattersVA




Second graders participated in a living wax museum! This project teaches students about historical figures and their contributions to society while incorporating history, writing, and art into one immersive experience!





Don't miss "The Wizard of Oz" play tonight at 7:00 pm, performed by PECHS students! Tickets cost only $5.00 and are available for purchase at the door. Cash only.

The school board of PECPS will have a meeting on Wednesday, April 10th, at 5:30 pm in the school board conference room. This month's meeting will include a budget hearing. The 2024-2025 budget will focus on literacy support and mental health resources.


Mr. Ganzert promised to shave his head if the MS band received superior ratings during the recent band assessments, and they did!
