Hosted by SVCC, the Make it Happen program is a one-day event in which students participate in panel discussions featuring leaders in the community. Students are encouraged to ask questions to learn more about their career paths. The event features an interactive magic show.

To celebrate National Reading Month, the elementary school reading team is filling up the bulletin board in the cafeteria with pictures of students when they Get Caught Reading! Some images will be shared on social media to highlight where our Eagles are reading! To have your child included, email a picture of them reading at home or around town. Reading can happen anywhere! Prince Edward County Public Schools staff attend various job fairs to recruit the best teachers and staff for our Eagle Family. Recently, Ms. Giles represented PECPS at the Radford University job fair.



Attention PECMS: The middle school will sponsor a parent workshop on Thursday, March 21st for 8th-grade students and their families.


These middle school Eagles received positive behavior referrals for January and February. They were recognized for having a positive attitude, being kind to others, and following classroom and school rules and expectations. Go Eagles!

Our nurse aid students recently attended a healthcare fair sponsored by Southside Virginia Community College. Students explored different career opportunities and spoke to nursing students.
