Our nurse aid students recently attended a healthcare fair sponsored by Southside Virginia Community College. Students explored different career opportunities and spoke to nursing students.

The division-wide attendance campaign of S.O.A.R. 🦅 is an ongoing effort to remind all our Eagles of the importance of daily attendance. Mrs. Amos, the Student Support Specialist, has started showing up to random classes 🎉 to give away incentives to our Eagles. Last week, she picked an ES class with perfect attendance to receive a prize. 🏆 #AttendanceMattersVA

PECHS Virginia Tiered System of Support (VTSS) team sponsored a Parent Night, serving dinner to Freshman and Sophomore families. Families learned about all the requirements for students to graduate.

The middle school PTO will meet on Wednesday, March 13, from 6 to 7 pm in the Middle School Library.
Did you know that school districts host an annual assessment concert where students perform prepared music for judges, receiving grades or ratings for the entire band? This is in line with the state Standards of Learning for music. A pre-assessment concert recently took place at the high school to prepare for the upcoming assessment concert. The high school assessment is scheduled for Friday, 3/8/24, and the middle school assessment for Saturday, 3/9/24, both at Lloyd C. Bird High School in Chesterfield. Good luck, Eagles!
