Hosted by SVCC, the Make it Happen program is a one-day event in which students participate in panel discussions featuring leaders in the community. Students are encouraged to ask questions to learn more about their career paths. The event features an interactive magic show.
To celebrate National Reading Month, the elementary school reading team is filling up the bulletin board in the cafeteria with pictures of students when they Get Caught Reading! Some images will be shared on social media to highlight where our Eagles are reading! To have your child included, email a picture of them reading at home or around town. Reading can happen anywhere! The division-wide attendance campaign of S.O.A.R. 🦅 is an ongoing effort to remind all our Eagles of the importance of daily attendance. Mrs. Amos, the Student Support Specialist, has started showing up to random classes 🎉 to give away incentives to our Eagles.
